St Paul of Tarsus Church

St. Paul of Tarsus Church is a Catholic parish established in 1984 in Clinton Township, Michigan. The church was founded when 150 local Catholic families petitioned the Archdiocese of Detroit for a new parish. The first Mass was celebrated in July 1984 at Chippewa Valley High School with 60 attendees. The dedicated church building was constructed and dedicated on March 5, 1989. The parish has grown significantly and underwent major renovations in 2006 and 2019. Currently led by Pastor Fr. Jim Lopez, the parish serves as a visible sign of God's Kingdom and offers Mass times throughout the week and weekend. The church also operates a food pantry and provides religious education and community support services.
