The Edge Urban Fellowship

The Edge Urban Fellowship is a hip hop church located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, launched in 2009. The church creates an urban family environment specifically for youth connected to hip hop culture who love Jesus. The ministry emphasizes four core values: Evangelism, Discipleship, Growth, and Empowerment. The Edge operates multiple programs including School of Hope, an afterschool literacy program for 2nd and 3rd graders; Summer STEAM for elementary students; and an Urban Arts Program for middle and high school students focusing on hip hop lyrical writing, performance, and production. The church also offers Cypher small groups for faith development and community connection. Weekend services gather the community to celebrate God's work and prepare for mission-focused service throughout the week.
