St. Gregorios Orthodox Church of Kansas City

St. Gregorios Orthodox Church of Kansas City is a parish of the Diocese of South-West America of the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Syrian Church. The church traces its spiritual heritage to the first century A.D., when St. Thomas, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, founded the church in India where he later was martyred. The parish worships the Holy Trinity according to Holy Scriptures and the unchanging Faith of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The community emphasizes faith as a way of life centered on worship rather than intellectual belief alone. They follow the Apostles' doctrine, fellowship, prayers, and the breaking of bread as outlined in Acts 2:42.
