Summit Point Church, Sterling Campus

Summit Point Church is an affinity church located in Independence, Missouri, serving the broken, formerly incarcerated, and homeless populations. The church emphasizes three core distinctive areas: becoming emotionally healthy through spiritual preparation for life's journey; maintaining a trauma-informed culture that provides healing and safe spaces for expression; and holding a biblical worldview grounded in God's Word rather than cultural influences. Summit Point Church believes in the authority and infallibility of the sixty-six books of the Bible and teaches the gospel through four aspects: human sinfulness, Christ's payment for sin through His death, the call to repentance and transformation, and the production of good works through grace rather than earning salvation. The church operates with a trinitarian understanding of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
