University Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Missoula is an Open and Affirming, Creation Justice church that cultivates joy and justice through the life and teachings of Jesus. The congregation embraces and affirms the identity and ministry of everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, age, faith perspective, or other factors. The church engages in weekly worship, music, reflection, and prayer while maintaining a culture of asking hard questions about life and faith. Members care for each other and those in need while working toward justice and equality for all people and living into the sacredness of all life on the planet. The congregation collaborates with other faith communities and nonprofits in Missoula through small groups and action teams.
