St. Matthew's Lutheran Church

St. Matthew's Lutheran Church is located at 85 Wayne Street in Jersey City, New Jersey. The church is a member of the New Jersey Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The church's mission is to love, welcome, nurture, and serve all people by following the example of Jesus Christ. Sunday worship services are held at 11 a.m. and are available both in person and via Facebook. The church offers a fellowship meal each Sunday after the worship service. St. Matthew's operates a food pantry every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and hosts Breakfast Plus at Grace on the fourth Saturday of each month. Pastoral care is provided by Pastor Menzi Nkambule. The church welcomes volunteers and invites all community members to participate in its ministries and activities.
