St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church

St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church is an Orthodox Christian community located in Southeast Charlotte, North Carolina. The parish is part of the Metropolis of Atlanta within the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The church received its charter in August 1998 and is dedicated to continuing Jesus Christ's ministry of salvation through Gospel proclamation, teaching, Baptism, and loving service to God and mankind. The parish is named after Saint Nektarios of Aegina, a modern-day saint canonized in 1961, a portion of whose relic was brought to the church in 2002. St. Nektarios provides a welcoming environment for worship, service, witness, and fellowship. The church operates through member pledges and stewardship contributions, with no minimum required to participate in the liturgical life of the community.
