Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Anthony of Padua Parish are Roman Catholic communities in Youngstown, Ohio, part of the Diocese of Youngstown. Our Lady of Mount Carmel was decreed a minor basilica in 2014 and is located downtown near the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood and minutes from Youngstown State University. St. Anthony of Padua Church serves as a resource for St. Joseph the Provider School and serves the historic Brier Hill neighborhood. The parish is rooted in Catholic faith and Italian traditions. Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw serves as Pastor and Rector. The parish offers faith formation programs, events, prayer resources, and event venues for weddings and other celebrations.
