Benedictine Sisters of Erie

The Benedictine Sisters of Erie are a monastic community in Erie, Pennsylvania celebrating 170 years of sharing Benedictine monastic spirituality, prayer, good works, and peace and justice initiatives. They are one of seventeen member monasteries in the Congregation of St. Scholastica. The community hosts various events including liturgies in their monastery chapel, open houses, retreats, and programs focused on peacemaking and spiritual life. They engage in community service and social justice work, including the Benedictine Peacemakers program and advocacy efforts.
