St Philip the Apostle Church

St. Philip the Apostle Church is a Roman Catholic parish located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The parish was founded on May 11, 1965 by Bishop George L. Leech of the Diocese of Harrisburg, with Father William Eline as its first pastor. The church is situated at the intersection of Millersville Pike and Millersville Road on 18 acres of land. Before the church building was completed, Mass was celebrated at Manor Shopping Center Auditorium beginning February 16, 1964, serving approximately 1,000 people. The parish church itself was completed and ready for use on June 9, 1968. The parish has included various religious education programs and parish organizations since its inception.
