Old Saint Mary's Parish is a historic Roman Catholic Church located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built in 1763, it was originally a Sunday church serving parishioners of Old St. Joseph Church before becoming its own parish. The church holds significant historical importance as the site of the first public religious commemoration of the Declaration of Independence. It served as the first Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Philadelphia from 1810 to 1838. The church was frequented by many prominent figures of Colonial Philadelphia and the American Revolution, including members of the Continental Congress who attended services between 1777 and 1781, as well as George Washington and John Adams.
