St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church

St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and serves as a Ukrainian Catholic parish community. The church was originally established on April 14, 1918, with property purchased at 60 Doerr Street. The church was dedicated on April 27, 1919 by the Apostolic Administrator for Ukrainian Catholics in the United States, the Right Reverend Peter Poniatishyn. Due to Pittsburgh's redevelopment plans, the church relocated with groundbreaking ceremonies on July 2, 1967. The first Divine Liturgy in the new building was celebrated on January 19, 1969. The parish community welcomed its centennial celebration in 2018. The church welcomes visitors to experience Eastern Christian worship and offers online donations via PayPal, as well as support initiatives for Ukraine.
