Sheldon Street Church is a multi-racial and multi-cultural congregation located in Providence, Rhode Island. The church holds dual allegiance with both the American Baptists and the United Church of Christ, committing itself to cooperate with sister churches in both denominations and ecumenically for the uplifting of the whole Church of God and for the welfare of the world. The church's mission affirms God's call to do justice, practice love and mercy, and walk humbly with God through Christ. The congregation welcomes and ministers to all peoples in all places as opportunity allows. Rev. Michael Clemons serves as the pastor. Worship services and Sunday School are held at 10:30 AM on Sundays.
