Murray Jr., the church occupies approximately 20 acres. The church operates several outreach ministries including The Bread of Life Ministry which feeds approximately 75 families monthly, an Evangelical Ministry providing spiritual guidance, and a Missionary Clothes Ministry distributing clothing, coats, blankets, and shoes. FBCJI works cooperatively with the James Island Outreach ministry and contributes to the James Island Interfaith Ministry, which supports the local school system and community.
