Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church

Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church is a mission community of the Avlona Synod (GOC-A), an Old Calendar Greek Orthodox jurisdiction, located in Liberty Hill, Texas. The parish is situated on a 24 acre campus in the rural outskirts of Austin and emphasizes worship of God rather than numerical growth. As a small community, the church provides opportunities for new families to participate and experience close community similar to the early Church. The Orthodox Church is described as the oldest Church in the world, maintaining an unbroken tradition from Jesus Christ, and is One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. The earliest Christian worship was liturgical, derived from Jewish temple rites. Visitors are welcomed to attend services or visit whenever the gate is open.
