St Ignatious Malankara Jacobite Syriac Cathedral

St. Ignatious Malankara Jacobite Syriac Christian Cathedral is a Syriac Orthodox Church located in Dallas, Texas, under the Malankara Archdiocese of Syrian Orthodox Church in North America. Founded in 1977, the church has grown to over 140 families. In October 2012, His Holiness Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, declared it the first Cathedral of Malankara Archdiocese in North America. The congregation worships according to ancient traditions of the Syriac Orthodox Church. The church operates an English Service Chapel, consecrated in May 2017, to encourage youth and young adult participation. The parish includes several organizations such as St Paul's Mens League, St Mary's Women's League, and youth groups including MGSOYA and MGSOSA.
