St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is a Catholic parish in Odessa, Texas, serving the northeast portion of the city. The parish was established on August 1, 1982, by Bishop Joseph A. Fiorenza with Fr. James P. Bridges as its founding pastor. The congregation initially met at Blanton Elementary School and later at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church before moving into its own church building on Christmas Day 1985. Bishop Michael D. Pfeifer formally dedicated the church in May 1986. The parish has expanded significantly over the decades with multiple construction projects including the Family Center (1990), Office and Education Building (1999), and the Hollice and Sylvia Clark Youth Building (2011). The parish serves residents east of Andrew's Highway north of 52nd Street, east of Grandview north of University, and north of Business 20 from John Ben Shepherd.
