Bethany First Baptist Church

Bethany First Baptist Church is an independent fundamentalist Baptist church located in San Antonio, Texas. Organized on January 6, 1980 by Reverend Doctor Ronald Benson, the church began with 10 members and grew to over 200 persons. Through its preaching, teaching, and counseling ministries, Bethany has reached thousands of people and broadcast programs on radio and television. The church believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God. In 1983, the congregation moved to the Dellcrest Plaza Shopping Mall before relocating to its current building at 202 Noblewood Drive in April 1986. In May 1992, the church was given the Hazel Miller Building at 229 St. Johns Street. The church maintains an active role in community outreach and welcomes participation from members and families.
