St. Xenia Orthodox Church

St. Xenia Orthodox Church is located in West Valley City, Utah and welcomes visitors to experience ancient Orthodox Christian worship. The church emphasizes the beauty of Orthodox services celebrated for two thousand years. Following Sunday services, the church community gathers in the fellowship hall for an agape meal, coffee, and fellowship. The parish is named after St. Xenia of St. Petersburg, their patroness. The church has undertaken a significant iconography project involving hand-painted frescoes on the ceiling, side walls, and back walls, completed by an iconographer from Serbia. The church also hosts community events including film screenings and celebrations of Orthodox feasts and holy days. Fr. Justin Havens serves as a spiritual leader, and church members are noted as friendly and welcoming to visitors.
