Westover Baptist Church

Westover Baptist Church is a small, diverse congregation located in Richmond, Virginia at the triangle of Westover Hills Boulevard and 49th Street. Founded in 1946, the church is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus and dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and cultural needs of the surrounding community. The church holds Sunday services beginning at 10:00 AM, featuring adult Bible study and worship services with scripture readings, prayer, musical meditations, sermons, and congregational singing using traditional hymnals accompanied by organ and piano. Affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship nationally and the South Richmond Baptist Center locally, Westover Baptist Church operates the Living Water Community Center, established in 2019 to promote healthy living and community care. The church also manages a food pantry and community garden.
