Church of the Holy Apostles

Church of the Holy Apostles is an Episcopal and Roman Catholic ecumenical community established in 1977 in Virginia Beach. It belongs to both the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. The church holds one worship service each Sunday at 10:30 AM featuring two simultaneous liturgies: Roman Catholic Mass and Episcopal Holy Eucharist. This unique model allows interfaith and same-faith families to worship together while honoring both traditions. The community is Christ-centered and committed to Christian unity, drawing on renewal within both churches and two decades of ecumenical dialogue. Additional activities include weekly Bible study on Tuesdays, a PLARN group meeting on Thursdays, and monthly Christian Ecumenical Network meetings. Services are available in person or via livestream on Facebook.
