Biserica Sfintii Trei Ierarhi

Biserica Sfintii Trei Ierarhi is a Romanian Orthodox parish located in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, serving the Seattle area. The church was established to meet the spiritual needs of Romanian immigrants and to preserve ancestral Orthodox traditions. It originated from a small Romanian immigrant community in the 1980s and was founded following a visit by Father Gheorghe Calciu Dumitreasa on February 27, 1988, who discussed establishing a Romanian Orthodox Mission in the Pacific Northwest. The church operates as Parohia Crestin Ortodoxa din Seattle and maintains various programs including religious services, a virtual library, and a Sunday program for children called Traista cu icoane. The parish is actively involved in community activities and construction projects.
