Old St. Peter's Church is a Traditional Anglican/Episcopal church located in Tacoma, Washington. Erected in 1873, it is the first church built in Tacoma and the city's oldest existing building. The church seats approximately 75 people. Its faith is based on the Bible, the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds, and two millennia of church history and traditions. The church uses the 1928 Book of Common Prayer as the standard for worship. Old St. Peter's operates as a self-supporting, independently governed community church with volunteer clergy in Anglican Apostolic Succession. The congregation supports various charitable organizations including FISH Foodbanks, Fisher House for Military Families, and the Tacoma Rescue Mission. Fellowship time follows the morning service, and the church offers special services throughout the liturgical year including Christmas, Easter, and other Christian observances.
