Diocese of the Highveld (Anglican)

The Diocese of the Highveld is an Anglican diocese within the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. It covers the East Rand in Gauteng province and the southern part of Mpumalanga province in South Africa. The diocese was formerly known as the Diocese of South Eastern Transvaal. The Bishop's seat is located at St Dunstan's Cathedral in Benoni. The Diocese of the Highveld comprises many parishes spread across the East Rand and Eastern Gauteng, organized into seven Archdeaconries. These archdeaconries include Cathedral in Benoni, Far East Rand, Igwa East, Igwa West, North Rand, South Rand, and Vosloorus. The diocese is committed to the spiritual growth of all under its care and offers various ministries to its congregations.
