Founded in 1967 by Fr Denis Adami, the parish community is diverse, comprising long-time residents, members of the diplomatic community, and students from the University of Pretoria and Tshwane University of Technology. The church features a distinctive 20-meter stained glass Wall of Light designed by artist Leo Theron, with a gold-leafed crucifix as the central altarpiece. The parish established a Chapel of Perpetual Adoration in November 2000 and operates the Denis Adami Centre for catechism classes, youth meetings, and community gatherings. Current priest is Fr Daniel Kivuw'a IMC.
