The church was formally established as a preaching point through the efforts of congregants including Pastor Shandirai Bwawa and Vimbai Masvaure, with support from Rev David Mucherera. Over the years, the church has expanded to include establishments in Pietermaritzburg and Richards Bay, with planned expansion to Newcastle and other areas in KwaZulu-Natal. The church serves congregants of all ages and offers multiple worship services throughout the week in various formats, including in-person and virtual options.
