St Cyprians Cathedral

St Cyprian's Cathedral is an Anglican church located at 129 Du Toitspan Road, Kimberley, Northern Cape, South Africa. It is part of the Diocese of Kimberley and Kuruman within the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. The cathedral serves as both a place of worship and the home of St Cyprian's Grammar School, which reopened in 2009 with 83 students in Grades 1-12. The cathedral celebrated its centenary in 2007-2008, with the foundation stone laid on 5 March 1907 and the first phase completed on 13 May 1908. St Cyprian's was elevated to cathedral status in 1911 with the formation of its diocese. The parish history extends back to 1871 at the beginning of Kimberley during the diamond rush era.
