This chapter is about the danger of stalled Christianity: re
Hebrews 6:1–12
Hebrews 6 treats Christian “basics” as a dangerous form of stalling: the community’s real peril isn’t ignorance but living off initiation experiences while refusing the costly maturity that alone proves the rain didn’t just fall on thorns. The shock is that assurance isn’t grounded in how intensely you once “tasted” spiritual gifts, but in whether you keep moving—and in God’s oath-backed promise that relocates hope outside your mood, anchored behind the veil where Jesus already is.
