Matthew 25 is about how the waiting itself reveals what kind

Matthew 25:31–46

Matthew 25 insists that the real danger isn’t ignorance about the end times but a kind of respectable “nonfailure” that never risks love: the bridesmaids who look the part but can’t borrow readiness, the servant who preserves the deposit and calls it prudence, and the goats who didn’t commit overt evil—only omission. Judgment, then, exposes that neutrality is a verdict: delay doesn’t excuse passivity; it reveals who actually belongs to the Bridegroom and King.
