Hebrews 1 is about God’s final self-disclosure: not a new me
Hebrews 1:1–14
Hebrews 1 doesn’t just rank Jesus above angels; it collapses the whole “heavenly intermediary” category by insisting that God’s final word is a Person who receives the worship angels themselves give to God. In a world tempted to seek safer, shinier mediators, the chapter is an aggressive claim that the only access to the divine court is through the enthroned Creator who first had to cleanse sin—no other spiritual go-betweens allowed.
