This chapter is about God making a public home with humanity
Revelation 21:1–22:5
Revelation 21 doesn’t end history by evacuating people to “heaven”; it humiliates every empire’s dream of the perfect city by showing the only enduring metropolis is one that descends as sheer gift—yet it’s still a city with walls, because God’s peace is not moral amnesty but a public order that excludes cowardly compromise and lies.
