2 Meqabyan 7:1-8
1Woe to you who do not know the Lord who created you; woe to your idols which are like you; woe to you all. You shall feel a regret that will not profit you when you are seized in the distress of Sheol. Woe to you who do not keep His Word and His Law.
2You will have no exit from there for eternity - you and your priests who sacrifice to idols as if they were your Creator, the Lord. For your idols have no breath or soul; they will not take revenge or destroy those who do evil to them, nor will they do good for those who do good to them.
3Woe to you who sacrifice to them, for they are the work of human hands where Satan lives, dwelling there to mislead the minds of lazy ones like you, so that he might lower you into the Gehenna of Fire - both you and the priests who serve the demons commanded for you and your idols.
4Because you do not know that nothing will profit you, you do wrong and you err.
5As for the animals that the Lord created to be food for you - even dogs and beasts - they are better than you; for besides their one death, there is no further condemnation upon them.
6But since you will die and receive hardship in the fire of Gehenna where there is no exit for all eternity, the animals are better off than you.
7Having spoken this, they departed and were hidden from him.
8But Tseerutsaydan remained where he was, trembling and seized by a deep terror; and that fright did not leave him until dawn.
