Mar Thoma Syrian Ebenezer Church, Thrissur

Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church is located at East Fort in Thrissur, Kerala, under the Kunnamkulam-Malabar Diocese. It is the sole Mar Thoma church in Thrissur town and serves as a significant Christian presence in Kerala's cultural capital. The church currently comprises over 325 families from different parts of Thrissur. It operates under the leadership of Rev. Jacob C Mathew. The spiritual organizations include Sunday School with over 120 students, Yuvajana Sakhyam, Sevika Sangham, Edavaka Mission, and Church Choir. The church maintains six prayer meetings in members' homes on Sundays. Secular institutions include the Parish Hall, Mar Thoma Girls Higher Secondary School, and Mar Thoma Students Centre. The church operates the Centre of Excellence for Development and Transformation as a centenary project serving underprivileged sections. It supports Chirakkekkodu Chapel and Ravi Varma Mandiram old age home, and undertakes various charitable projects including medical insurance, aid for the poor, and educational assistance.
