Our Lady of Fatima Chapel for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Saint Theresa Parish is the mother church of Trumbull, originally founded on October 4, 1934 by Bishop Maurice F. McAuliffe of Hartford. The parish established the first Catholic Church in Trumbull, dedicated to Saint Theresa, the Little Flower of Jesus. The original small white frame church was dedicated on September 22, 1935. In 1960, permission was granted to construct the present cathedral-like granite and limestone church building, which was dedicated on April 1, 1962. Today, the parish serves over 3,100 parishioner families and operates several active ministries including Sons of Saint Joseph, IGNITE Youth Ministry, Everyday Fiat, and Music Ministry. The church offers Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and Devotions. All masses are available via livestream. The parish also operates Saint Theresa School, educating students in the Catholic classical tradition since 1955.
