St. Theresa Church is a Catholic parish located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, serving the Trumbull community. Originally founded on October 4, 1934 by Bishop Maurice F. McAuliffe as the first Catholic Church in Trumbull, the parish was dedicated in honor of Saint Theresa, the Little Flower of Jesus. The current cathedral-like granite and limestone church building was dedicated on April 1, 1962. Today, St. Theresa serves over 3,100 parishioner families and is considered the Mother Church of Trumbull. The parish offers traditional faith instruction, classical education through its affiliated school, and maintains several active ministries including Sons of Saint Joseph, IGNITE Youth Ministry, Everyday Fiat, and Music Ministry. The church features a 24/7 Our Lady of Fatima Perpetual Adoration Chapel and provides regular Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and devotions.
