Enoch 1:1-9

Enoch, a righteous visionary whose eyes were opened by the Holy One, blesses the chosen and righteous, prophesying God's future judgment when He emerg...

The words of blessing of Enoch, with which he blessed the chosen and righteous who will be present

on the day of tribulation, for the removal of all the wicked and impious. And Enoch answered and said — a righteous man whose eyes were opened by the Holy One, who saw the holy vision in the heavens which the angels showed me; and I heard from them everything, and I understood what I saw — but not for this generation, rather for a distant generation that is to come.

Concerning the chosen I spoke, and I took up my discourse concerning them: the Holy One and Great One will come forth from his dwelling,

even the God of the world. And from there he will tread upon Mount Sinai, and he will appear in his encampment, and he will appear in the might of his strength from heaven.

And all shall fear, and the Watchers shall tremble, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the lofty hills shall be brought low, and they shall melt like honeycomb in the flame.

And the earth shall be submerged, and everything that is upon the earth shall perish, and there shall be judgment upon all and upon all the righteous.

But for the righteous he will make peace, and he will guard the chosen, and mercy shall be upon them, and they shall all belong to God, and they shall prosper and be blessed, and the light of God shall shine upon them.

And behold, he comes with the myriads of his holy ones, to execute judgment upon them, and to destroy the impious, and to contend with all flesh concerning all that the sinners and the impious have done and wrought against him.
