1And I saw written concerning them that generation upon generation will do evil, until a generation of righteousness shall arise, and evil shall be destroyed, and sin shall pass away from upon the earth, and every good thing shall come upon it.
2And now, my son, go, make known to your son Lamech that this child who has been born is truly his son, and it is no falsehood.
3And when Methuselah heard the word of his father Enoch — for he had shown him everything that is hidden — he returned, having seen, and he called the name of that child Noah, because he shall bring gladness to the earth from all destruction.
