1 Enoch 43:1-4
Enoch witnesses the stars of heaven called by name and observes scales of righteousness weighing according to their lights and revolution. His angelic guide reveals these represent the parabolic names of righteous ones dwelling on earth who believe in the Lord of Spirits eternally.
1And I saw other lightnings and the stars of heaven, and I saw how he called them all by their names, and they hearkened to him.
2And I saw the scales of righteousness, how they are weighed according to their lights, according to the breadth of their places and the day of their appearing and their revolution: lightning begets lightning, and their revolution is according to the number of the angels, and they keep faith one with another.
3And I asked the angel who went with me, who showed me what was hidden: "What are these?"
4And he said to me: "The Lord of Spirits has shown you their parabolic meaning: these are the names of the righteous who dwell upon the dry land and believe in the name of the Lord of Spirits forever and ever."
