Enoch 61:1-12
And I saw in those days that long cords were given to those angels, and they took for themselves wings and flew and went toward the north.
And I asked the angel, saying, "Why have these taken the long cords and gone?" And he said to me, "They have gone that they may measure."
And the angel who goes with me said to me, "These shall bring the measurements of the righteous and the ropes of the righteous, that they may lean upon the name of the Lord of Spirits forever and ever.
They shall measure, and the elect shall dwell with the elect; and these measurements shall be given to faith, and they shall strengthen the word of righteousness.
And these measurements shall reveal all the hidden things of the depths of the earth, and those who were destroyed by the desert, and those who were devoured by the fish of the sea and by the beasts, that they may return and lean upon the day of the Elect One; for none shall be destroyed before the Lord of Spirits, and none is able to be destroyed.
And all those who are above in the heavens received a command, and one power and one voice and one light like fire was given to them.
And him, before all things, with their first word they blessed and exalted and glorified with wisdom; and they were made wise in speech and in the spirit of life.
And the Lord of Spirits set the Elect One upon the throne of his glory, and he shall judge all the works of the holy ones in the heights of heaven, and in the balance their deeds shall be weighed.
And when he lifts up his face to judge their hidden ways according to the word of the name of the Lord of Spirits, and their path according to the way of the righteous judgment of the Lord Most High, they shall all speak with one voice and shall bless and glorify and exalt and praise the name of the Lord of Spirits.
And he shall summon all the host of the heavens, and all the holy ones above, and the host of God, the Cherubim and Seraphim and Ophannim, and all the angels of power, and all the angels of dominions, and the Elect One, and the other host which is upon the dry land and over the water on that day, and they shall raise one voice and shall bless and glorify and praise and exalt in the spirit of faith, and in the spirit of wisdom and patience, and in the spirit of mercy, and in the spirit of judgment and peace, and in the spirit of goodness; and they shall all say with one voice, "Blessed is he, and blessed be the name of the Lord of Spirits forever and unto eternity."
All who do not slumber in the heights of heaven shall bless him; all his holy ones who are in heaven shall bless him, and all the elect who dwell in the garden of life, and every spirit of light that is able to bless and glorify and exalt and hallow your holy name, and all flesh shall, beyond measure of strength, glorify and bless your name forever and ever.
For great is the mercy of the Lord of Spirits, and he is slow to wrath; and all his works and all his might, as much as he has made, he has revealed to the righteous and to the elect in the name of the Lord of Spirits.
