Enoch 63:1-11
In those days the mighty kings who possess the dry land shall beseech the angels of his punishment to whom they have been delivered, that he might grant them a little respite, that they might fall down and worship before the Lord of Spirits and confess their sins before him.
And they shall bless and glorify the Lord of Spirits, and say: 'Blessed is the Lord of Spirits and the Lord of kings, the Lord of the mighty and the Lord of the rich, the Lord of glory and the Lord of wisdom, who makes every hidden thing to shine forth.'
'Your power is unto generation upon generation, and your glory unto the ages of ages; deep are all your hidden things and without number, and your righteousness has no reckoning.'
'Now we have come to know that we should glorify and bless the Lord of kings, and the one who reigns over all kings.'
And they shall say: 'Who has given us respite that we might glorify and give thanks and bless him and confess before his glory?'
'And now we long for a little respite, but do not find it; we are driven away and do not lay hold of it; and the light has passed from before us, and darkness shall be our dwelling unto the ages of ages.'
'For we have not believed before him, nor have we glorified the name of the Lord of kings, nor have we glorified the Lord in all his works; but our hope was upon the scepter of our kingdom and our glory.'
'And in the day of our anguish and our tribulation he does not save us, and we find no respite to confess, for our Lord is faithful in all his works and in all his judgments and his righteousness, and he shows no partiality in his judgment.'
'And we pass away from his presence because of our works, and all our sins have been reckoned in righteousness.' Now they shall say to them: 'Our soul is sated with the goods of iniquity, yet this does not hinder our descent into the flame of the burden of Sheol.'
And after this their faces shall be filled with darkness and shame before that Son of Man, and from before his face they shall be driven away, and the sword shall abide before his face in the midst of them.
And thus said the Lord of Spirits: 'This is the ordinance and the judgment for the mighty and for the kings and for the exalted and for those who possess the dry land, before the Lord of Spirits.'
