Enoch 84:1-6

Enoch offers a blessing to God acknowledging His supreme power and eternal dominion over all creation. He petitions God to spare a righteous remnant f...

And I lifted up my hands in righteousness and blessed the Holy and Great One. And I spoke with the breath of my mouth and with the tongue of flesh, which God has made for the sons of men that they might speak with it; and he gave them breath and a tongue and a mouth that they might speak with it:

"Blessed are you, O Lord, King — great and mighty in your greatness, Lord of all the creation of heaven, King of kings and God of all the world. Your divine rule and your kingdom and your greatness endure forever and ever and ever, and throughout all generations your dominion. And all the heavens are your throne forever, and all the earth is the footstool of your feet forever and ever and ever.

For you have made and you rule all things, and nothing is too hard for you, and no wisdom escapes you; nor does it turn away from its seat of your dwelling, nor from your face. And you know all things, and you see and you hear, and nothing is hidden from you, for you see all things.

And now the angels of your heavens commit transgression, and upon the flesh of men your wrath shall be until the day of the great judgment.

And now, O God and Lord and great King, I implore and beseech you to establish for me my petition, that you leave me a remnant upon the earth, and that you destroy not all the flesh of man, and make not the earth empty, so that there should be eternal destruction.

And now, my Lord, blot out from upon the earth the flesh that has provoked your wrath, but the flesh of righteousness and uprightness establish as a plant of the eternal seed; and hide not your face from the petition of your servant, O Lord."
