Enoch 98:1-15
And now I swear to you, to the wise and to the foolish, that you will see many things upon the earth.
For you men put adornment upon yourselves more than upon women, and colored finery more than upon a virgin — in kingship and in majesty and in authority, and in silver and gold and purple and honor and food; like water they are poured out.
Therefore they have neither learning nor wisdom, and because of this they will be destroyed together with their possessions and with all their glory and their honor; and in shame and in slaughter and in great distress their spirits will be cast into the furnace of fire.
I have sworn to you, sinners, that as a mountain has not become, and will not become, a slave, nor a hill a handmaid to a woman, so neither was sin sent down upon the earth, but men from themselves created it, and those who do it shall come under a great curse.
And barrenness has not been given to a woman, but because of the work of her own hands she dies without children.
I have sworn to you, sinners, by the Holy One and the Great One, that all your evil deeds are disclosed in the heavens, and none of your works of oppression are covered or hidden.
And do not suppose in your spirit, nor say in your heart, that you do not know and do not see that every sin is written down in heaven every day before the Most High.
From now on you know that all the oppression which you commit is written down every day until the day of your judgment.
Woe to you, fools, for you will be destroyed through your folly; and you do not listen to the wise, and good will not befall you.
And now know that you are prepared for the day of destruction. Do not hope, sinners, that you will live, but you shall depart and die; for you know no ransom, because you are prepared for the day of the great judgment and for the day of tribulation and great shame for your spirits.
Woe to you, stubborn of heart, who do evil and eat blood — from where do you eat good things and drink and are satisfied? It is from all the good things which the Lord, the Most High, has lavished upon the earth. Therefore you shall have no peace.
Woe to you who love the deeds of iniquity: why do you hope for good for yourselves? Know that you will be delivered into the hand of the righteous, and they will cut off your necks and slay you and show you no mercy.
Woe to you who rejoice in the tribulation of the righteous, for no grave will be dug for you.
Woe to you who set at nought the word of the righteous, for you will have no hope of life.
Woe to you who write lying words and words of the wicked, for they write down their lies that men may hear them and not forget them for folly. And they will have no peace, but they shall die a sudden death.
