Enoch 65:1-12
In those days Noah saw that the earth had tilted, and that its destruction was near.
He lifted up his feet from there and went to the ends of the earth, and cried out to his grandfather Enoch. And Noah said with a bitter voice, 'Hear me, hear me, hear me'—three times.
And he said to him, 'Tell me what it is that is being done upon the earth, for the earth has labored so and is shaken; perhaps I shall perish with it.'
And after that there came a great commotion upon the earth, and a voice was heard from heaven, and I fell upon my face.
And Enoch my grandfather came and stood beside me, and said to me, 'Why have you cried out to me with so bitter a cry and weeping?'
'A command has gone forth from the presence of the Lord against those who dwell upon the dry land, that their end shall come, because they have learned all the secrets of the angels, and all the violence of the satans, and all their hidden power, and the power of those who practice sorceries, and the power of enchantments, and the power of those who cast molten images for all the earth;
and how silver is produced from the dust of the earth, and how tin comes to be upon the earth.
For lead and tin are not produced from the earth as the first: it is a spring that brings them forth, and an angel who stands therein, and that angel is preeminent.'
And after this my grandfather Enoch took hold of me by his hand and raised me up, and said to me, 'Go, for I have asked the Lord of Spirits concerning this commotion upon the earth.'
And he said to me, 'Because of their iniquity their judgment has been accomplished, and they shall not be reckoned before me on account of the months that they have sought out and known, that the earth shall be destroyed together with those who dwell upon it.
And for these there is no return forever, for they have shown them what is hidden, and they are condemned. But not so for you, my son: the Lord of Spirits knows that you are pure and good, free from this reproach concerning the hidden things.
And he has established your name in the midst of the holy ones, and he will keep you from those who dwell upon the dry land, and he has established your seed in righteousness for kings and for great glories; and from your seed shall go forth a spring of the righteous and the holy, without number, forever.'
