Enoch 69:1-29
And after this the judgment shall terrify them and shake them, for they have shown this to those who dwell upon the dry land.
And behold the names of those angels, and these are their names: the first of them is Semyaza, and the second Arestiqifa, and the third Armen, and the fourth Kokabiel, and the fifth Turiel, and the sixth Ramyal, and the seventh Danel, and the eighth Nuqael, and the ninth Baraqael, and the tenth Azazel, the eleventh Armaros, the twelfth Batariel, the thirteenth Basasael, the fourteenth Ananel, the fifteenth Turiel, the sixteenth Simapisiel, the seventeenth Yetarel, the eighteenth Tumael, the nineteenth Tarel, the twentieth Rumael, the twenty-first Izzezeel.
And these are the chiefs of their angels and the names of the leaders of their hundreds, and the leaders of their fifties, and the leaders of their tens.
The name of the first is Yequn: this is the one who led astray all the sons of the holy angels, and brought them down upon the dry land, and led them astray through the daughters of men.
And the second was named Asbeel: he gave evil counsel to the sons of the holy angels, and led them astray to defile their bodies with the daughters of men.
And the third was named Gadreel: this is the one who showed every blow of death to the sons of men, and he it was who led Eve astray, and he showed the weapons of death to the sons of men — the shield and the coat of mail and the sword for battle, and every weapon of death to the sons of men.
And from his hand they went forth against those who dwell upon the dry land, from that time and forever.
And the fourth was named Penemu: this one showed the sons of men the bitter and the sweet, and he showed them all the hidden things of their wisdom.
He taught men writing with ink and papyrus, and on account of this many have gone astray from eternity and unto eternity, and to this very day.
For men were not created for such a purpose — that they should confirm their faith with pen and ink.
For man was not created otherwise than as the angels — that they should remain righteous and pure, and death, which destroys all things, would not have touched them; but through this their knowledge they are being destroyed, and through this power it devours me.
And the fifth was named Kasdeya: this one showed to the sons of men all the evil blows of the spirits and of the demons, and the blows that attack the embryo in the womb so that it miscarries, and the blows of the soul — the bite of the serpent, and the blow that befalls at noonday, the offspring of the serpent whose name is Tabaʿet.
And this is the number of Kasbeel, the chief of the oath, which he showed to the holy ones when he dwelt on high in glory; and its name is Beqa.
And this one said to the holy Michael that he should show to them the hidden name, that they might behold that hidden name and so remember the oath, and that those who had revealed every hidden thing to the sons of men might tremble before that name and oath.
And this is the power of this oath, for it is mighty and strong; and he placed this oath Akaʿ in the hand of the holy Michael.
And these are the secrets of this oath, and they were made firm by his oath: and the heaven was suspended before the world was created, and forever.
And through it the earth was founded upon the waters, and from the hidden places of the mountains come forth beautiful waters for the living, from the creation of the world and forever.
And through that oath the sea was created, and for its foundation, for the time of wrath, he set sand for it, and it does not pass beyond from the creation of the world and forever.
And through that oath the depths were made firm, and they stand and do not move from their place from eternity and forever.
And through that oath the sun and the moon complete their course and do not depart from their commandment from eternity and forever.
And through that oath the stars complete their course, and he calls their names, and they answer him, from eternity and forever.
And likewise with the waters, the spirits of the winds, and of all the spirits, and their paths, from all the companies of the spirits.
And there are preserved the treasuries of the voice of the thunder and the brightness of the lightning, and there are preserved the treasuries of the hail and the hoarfrost, and the treasuries of the mist, and the treasuries of the rain and the dew.
And all these believe and give thanks before the Lord of Spirits, and glorify with all their power; and their food consists in all thanksgiving, and they give thanks and glorify and exalt the name of the Lord of Spirits forever and ever.
And over them this oath is strong, and through it they are preserved, and their paths are preserved, and their courses do not perish.
And there was great joy among them, and they blessed and glorified and exalted because the name of that Son of Man had been revealed to them.
And he sat upon the throne of his glory, and the sum of judgment was given to the Son of Man, and he caused sinners to pass away and be destroyed from the face of the earth, and those who led the world astray.
With chains they shall be bound, and in their assembly of destruction they shall be shut up, and all their works shall pass away from the face of the earth.
And from henceforth there shall be nothing corruptible, for that Son of Man has appeared and has seated himself upon the throne of his glory, and all evil shall pass away and depart from before his face, and the word of that Son of Man shall stand firm before the Lord of Spirits. This is the third parable of Enoch.
