1 Enoch 79:1-6

¹And now, my son Methuselah, I have shown you everything, and the whole ordinance of the stars of heaven is completed.

²And he showed me all their ordinances for every day, and for every season of every dominion, and for every year, and for its going forth, and the command given to it, every month and every sabbath.

³And the waning of the moon which takes place in the sixth gate — for in this sixth gate its light is completed, and after this is the beginning of the month.

⁴And the waning which takes place in the first gate in its season, until one hundred and seventy-seven days are completed, or, reckoned by sabbaths, twenty-five weeks and two days.

⁵And it falls behind the sun and the ordinance of the stars exactly five days in one period, and when this place which you behold is completed.

⁶Such is the appearance and likeness of every luminary which Uriel, the great angel who is their leader, showed me.
