1 Enoch 80:1-8

¹And in those days Uriel answered me and said to me: Behold, I have shown you everything, O Enoch, and I have revealed everything to you, that you may see this sun and this moon, and those who lead the stars of heaven, and all those who turn them—their work and their seasons and their goings forth.

²And in the days of sinners the years shall be shortened, and their seed shall be late upon their land and upon their fields, and all the works upon the earth shall be altered and shall not appear in their season; and the rain shall be withheld, and heaven shall hold it back.

³And in those times the fruit of the earth shall be late and shall not flourish in its season, and the fruit of the tree shall be withheld in its season.

⁴And the moon shall alter its order and shall not appear in its season.

⁵And in those days the heaven shall appear, and barrenness shall come upon the edge of the great chariot in the west, and it shall shine more brightly than the order of light.

⁶And many of the chiefs of the stars of commandment shall go astray, and these shall alter their ways and their works, and shall not appear in the seasons appointed them.

⁷And the whole order of the stars shall be closed against the sinners, and the thoughts of those who dwell upon the earth shall err concerning them, and they shall turn aside from all their ways, and shall go astray, and shall reckon them as gods.

⁸And evil shall be multiplied upon them, and a scourge shall come upon them, to destroy them all.
